Type: Critters - Pediculosis pubis or "crabs" are very tiny insects that infest the pubic hair and survive by feeding on human blood.

Incubation Period: The eggs of lice hatch in a week; then they mature in about 8 - 10 days.

Treatment: Washing the body and all clothes, bedding, etc. in a special insecticide soap that you can buy at most pharmacies and chain drug stores over the counter. Insecticide shampoos are also available.

Left Untreaded: The critters will go to other parts of your body and the itching will become worse!
